EDUCATION
R. David Pore received a B.A. in History from Texas State University in 1993 and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1995. He earned his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 1998.

Mr. Pore was admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas in 2002.
Experience
Mr. Pore has over 12 years experience working in and around Texas government and politics. He has served in Austin as a Legislative Aide to the Speaker Pro Tem of the Texas House of Representatives and in Washington D.C. as Legislative Director to a U.S. Congressman from Texas. Prior to joining Hance Scarborough, LLP in 2004, he worked on public education law and policy for the Association of Texas Professional Educators. Mr. Pore practices in the firm’s Administrative, Regulatory, Public Policy and Governmental Relations areas. His current clients include trade associations, corporations, economic development organizations, governmental bodies, and individuals. Mr. Pore represents the firm’s clients before the Texas Legislature, the U.S. Congress and state and federal agencies, and is an Adjunct Professor of Government at Austin Community College.
